Kanga Husbandry – Tools

The Kange Husbandry mod adds a number of tools to help you maintain your farm.

Mod mechanics

The butcher’s knife is used to slaughter a tamed dino. Put the knife in your hotbar and the slaughter option will appear on the radial menu of the animal. After slaughtering you will have the option to butcher the animal. This will give you certain resources. The amount of resources you get is tied to the dino’s stats:

  • health: meat, bacon, prime meat, hide, whole bird
  • oxygen: blood
  • food: bones
  • weight: fat (bonus on Phiomia)
  • torpidity: feathers

Plow

. use: maintain crop plots
. option to distribute fertilizers
. option to mass harvest

Wheelbarrow

. use: collects plant waste from harvesting nearby crop plots and converts it to thatch

Wooden rake
. craft in: farmer’s table
. use: maintain crop plots

Wooden pitchfork
. craft in: farmer’s table
. snaps into haybales (farmer’s workshop)
. speeds up the rate of drying thatch and plant waste into hay (2x)

Wooden shovel
