Mod mechanics

The Blacksmith mod adds 2 new metals that are harvested from there own unique metal nodes. Each metal node spawns in the spawn area of 2 dinos.

The impure metal node spawns near the Parasaurus and the Dilo. When harvested with a pick, it gives you an amount of impure ore. There is a chance you will also get a small amount of pure ore and clay. The node cannot be harvested with a dino.

The pure metal node spawns near the Anky and the Kentrosaurus. When harvested with a pick, it gives you a bigger amount of pure ore than the impure ore node. This node can also be harvested with an anky.

The vanilla metal nodes still spawn separately. You’ll need a combination of vanilla metal and Kanga metal for your metal components.
